DAVID WHITE

David's career began in Melbourne in the early 70's when he became a professional touring musician playing bass guitar. His musical skills were also combined with a keen business sense and he progressed in the Australian contemporary music industry in the fields of artist management, concert promotion and special events management.
Since moving to the Gold Coast in Queensland in the early 80's, David has further developed his business reputation and now works very closely with music identities such as Glenn Shorrock, Ross Wilson, Daryl Braithwaite, Joe Camilleri, Wilbur Wilde and Frankie J Holden. He is also a highly active member of Variety Queensland The Children's Charity and served on the Queensland Board of Management for two years.
David is an accomplished stage and screen actor. He has appeared in numerous Australian and USA televisions series, miniseries, telemovies and cinema release films and currently also has an original stage musical under development in conjunction with Glenn Shorrock and Australian actor Robert Coleby.
He started Live Theatre Productions (Aust) Pty Ltd in 2007 with business partner and co-producer Rick Szabo and "Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story" is the company's first major production.
RICK SZABO

Rick first entered the entertainment industry as a singer in the early eighties but soon learned that what happens behind the scenes in the build up to a performance is vital to the performance itself. After hard fought lessons in co-ordinating and promoting his own shows, he was recruited by a leading agent and inevitably developed a unique rapport with the artists he worked with, whilst always striving for excellence in promoting artists performances and harnessing their needs. This eventually led to Rick starting (1996) his own entertainment company which exists today as Q Live Pty Ltd.
As its sole Managing Director this company is now Queensland’s leading promoter of talent throughout the state with branches into national tour management, marketing, venue consultancy and event management.
