He studied there until he was sixteen when he took his GCSE’s and left school to become a trainee printer. After six months and several potential skin diseases, and disagreements with the boss he quit. He then experienced his one and only month of unemployment until he was accepted as a Youth Trainee at King’s Mill Hospital. Here, he work in various different departments at various different roles for almost seven years. Including the Accident & Emergency and Radiology departments. He played drums in several local bands, most notably Fubar. A punk four piece. In the summer of 2001 he auditioned for Stomp and is still amazed today that he was chosen for the show. Since then he has Stomped around the world and considers himself to be a very lucky man.
